about me

about me

my work is a visual diary.

I take inspiration from old family photos by dropping myself as a subject into an uncanny space of childhood memories and feelings.

My work also focuses on the relationship with my body throughout periods of chronic illness in which I’ve examined dreams of life, death, and the perpetual anxiety of the millennial experience.

My hope is that my work evokes something familiar, comforting, and slightly unnerving within the viewer.

My name is Caitlin. (I prefer Cait).

New Mexico native, dwelling in the Midwest.

Soft-hearted music lover.

I have my doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri - Class of 2023.

soon-to-be neurological PT resident 2023-2024

Contact me.

I’d love to ruin one of your childhood photos.
